This house was originally built about 120 years ago in a grand colonial style as the main house for the farm called “Fresnaye”.Over the years it had become run down and poorly maintained. Our client approached us to resurrect the “Grand old lady” to once again take pride of place within its context.

We added balconies as well as garaging to the entrance of the house while totally transforming thee internals to reflect the modern lifestyle of today. Timber flooring was removed and replaced with suspended structural concrete floors and unlevel surface beds were chopped out to give the result which we have today. All this within the confines of a limited budget. We feel that the renovation was hugely successful resulting in a magnificent modern home with the stature and style of yesteryear.
