Neal Sachs

B.A.S. B.Arch (Wits)

Neal Sachs’ professional experience includes contracts with Zvi Hecker Architects in Tel Aviv and Berlin offices, with Sino Pacific Construction Corp in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, prior to founding Zuckerman Sachs Architects.

As Principal Architect at Zuckerman Sachs Architects he has completed a variety of projects including retail developments, industrial projects, commercial and educational facilities and numerous upmarket, private residences ranging from R5 million to R160 million in value.

He is a registered member with the South African Council of Architects (SACAP)

Mark Zuckerman

B.A.S. B.Arch (UCT)

Mark Zuckerman began his professional career in 1988 with MTVR Architects in Cape Town and was Project Architect on a variety of projects including the Kelpak Factory, Groote Schuur High School hostel, Granger Bay Housing and Office Developments and Triomed Office Development.

As Principal Architect at Zuckerman Sachs Architects he was involved in the masterplan development of phase 1 of the Arabella Golf Estate in Kleinmond, Western Cape which included a 100 room 5-star hotel, 300 freehold residences set in a golf course and lagoon environment. He has also been the Principal Architect on over 30 upmarket, private residences ranging from R5 million to R25 million in value.

He is a registered member with the South African Council of Architects (SACAP)

Shareefah Smith

B.A.S. B.Arch (UCT)

Shareefah Smith’s professional background includes a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and 5 years of office experience as a Candidate Architect.

During her career, she has contributed to a diverse array of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Wilhelm De Jong

CPUT

Wilhelm qualified a Senior Architectural Technologist in 2005.  He has been involved in a variety of projects ranging from Luxury Housing to Commercial.  He joined Zuckerman Sachs Architects in 2012.

He is a registered member of South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)

Nonhlanhla Mashego

BAS, BAS(Hons), MArch(Prof) (Wits)

Nonhlanhla Mashego is a SACAP registered Professional Architect with a BAS, BAS(Hons), and MArch(Prof) from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).

Her professional experience spans a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and urban design developments.

Andrea Moolman

CPUT

Andrea qualified as an Architectural Technologist in 1983.  She worked for the Department of Public Works in the Schools and Hospital departments.  She joined the private sector in 1989 and worked for both small and large companies where she was involved in a variety of projects ranging from Residential to Commercial buildings including Business parks, Hotels, Office blocks,  Luxury housing developments and Community centres.  She joined Zuckerman Sachs Architects in 2006 as a Senior Architectural Technologist.

She is a registered member of the South African Institute of Architectural Technologist, (SAIAT), Cape Institute of Architects (CIFA) and South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)

We rely not only on our extensive design and technical experience, but also on an intuitive sense of what will work in a specific situation. When the spatial qualities of a building transcend what can be measured or quantified, building becomes architecture. This is what we strive for.
